Does anyone have an idea where in England many of the Irish originated from as a waypoint to leave England and end up to US and then on to Kingston PA. My relatives for some reason stayed in Ireland for at least four years and then on to U.S. but I would love to figure out where in England they came from and then try to connect to a source in Ireland? thanks for any suggestions on the England connection for the Irish in 1870's.
