I have hit a large brick wall with my great grandmother. Her name was Mary McNulty Moran and she lived in Scranton for her entire life. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and from her obituary very active in the community & church. While I know that the obit was probably written by her family, I would like to believe there is some truth upon which it is based. She lived in the "notch" area of Scranton on Oak Street for most of her adult life. She married Patrick Moran and was the daughter of Patrick McNulty & Helen Ryan. She was born in 1862 and died in 1928. She had 11 children, all of whom she raised in Scranton. Any suggestions of any more information I can get on her other than birth, death and census. Does anyone know if the societies of Holy Rosary kept any records and how helpful they would be? Any other suggestions? I believe at one point she had some sort of business of her own, but no one is quite sure what that was or where it may have been located. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Amy
