Is any one familiar with Lake Sheridan, Cottages ,canoes and boat rentals.My great grandfather owned this property until he died in 1962. His name was Frederick Tietze he lived at 152 south sumner ave Scranton. The business card that I have from the lake reads For Rent Cottages, Canoes and Boats at Lake Sheridan Fredeirck Tietze and Son Carl Tietze Managers 152 S.Sumner Avenue Scranton Pa Next To Dance Hall Refreshments. Grounds for Picnics and Parking Cars Gas and Electric would love to have copies of any period pictures of the lake and its cottages. My great grandfather owned it from atleast 1940's.
