I'm not sure of your spelling, but "Wieœ" means village". "Zamek" means castle. "Gmina" means populace of. "Powiat" means district. "Ziemia" means territory of. Zamek, Bacice, Belgonaz, and Lubelska are names of places. Lubelska is in eastern Poland around Poznan. The bigest city in that region would probably be Lublin. It is about 90 miles away from the Ukranian boarder. I'm giving you this information from my memory. My ex wife's family was from this region. Although most of my nationaliy is of Irish background, I was raised in a Polish neighborhood where I learned to speak Polish. I still have my Polish/Engilsh dictionary to help me out with some Polish words I've forgotten, but I seldom use Polish anymore. If you have a map of Poland, check out the Poznan and Lubelskiej areas. Lubelskiej is nothing more than the declined form of Lubelska. Poznan and Lubelskiej are nothing more than areas within areas, such as: state, county, village. I'm pretty shure I'm correct on this, but I'm not 100% sure. A map of Poland would comfirm what I'm telling you. It has been a long time since I've thought about any of this, but I hope this helps. Sincerely, Mike Cavanaugh Buffalo, NY
