Sept. 14, 1899 Grand Jury Indictments Richard LITTLE and M.J. O'TOOLE, both editors of the Scrantonian, were indicted in two cases on the charge of libel preferred by Postmaster E. H. Ripple. Annie GODWIN was indicted as a Common Scold The death of Mrs. George WHITE, a well-known resident of South Filmore Avenue, occured yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at her home. She is survived by her husband and four sons by a former husband, namly, John, William, David and Albert MATTHEWS. The remains of Thomas COYNE were interred in Cathedral cemetery yesterday.
