I have had considerable success obtaining obituaries through Interlibrary Loan. I provide my library with a list of names and death dates and then they forward the request to the library in Scranton. Within a few weeks, the obituaries come back to the library. There was no charge to me. Subsequent to me doing this, I believe I read somewhere that the library will only provide obituary requests through interlibrary loan. As far as I know, you do need to provide the death date. Hope this helps. Patrice Houck Schadt Researching the following names in Scranton and Lackawanna County: Bagley, Coss, Hallinan, Houck, McPeek
