Amy, I'm about to begin my own search for land records. Can you give me some pointers as to the best way to go about it? Are they indexed alphabetically by name and then date? Appreciate any info you can give me. My recollection is that there are two sets of books---Grantors------and ----Grantees They are sort of Alphabetical in that the A's are altogether and the B's and so on, but they are in date order within the Main Alpha heading-------So one book might cover 1920 to 1923 in this manner------It takes getting used to the recorders handwriting also---It's time consuming, but interesting work---have fun "Garthe L.
