Recently there were some questions and comments about the Dickson Manufacturing Company on the list. I've deleted my old emails, but I finally dug out my copy of THE CITY OF SCRANTON, PA AND VICINITY AND THEIR RESOURCES, published by the Scranton Tribune sometime in the late nineteenth century. It lists James P. Dickson, born in Carbondale July 24, 1852, as the President of the company. The company made train locomotives. James was married to a Laura H. Reynolds, daughter of J. Fuller Reynolds of Wilkes Barre. Gayle
