I am researching my Great Grand Uncle who was a lawyer in Scranton. I would be interested in learning more. M J Williams DAVID W. BROWN He was born in Lathrop township. Early in life he taught school in the country, and later attended school at Keystone academy, where after his graduation he was retained as teacher of Penmanship. He later entered Colgate university and graduated there in 1882. Mr. Brown studied law with Little & Allen at Montrose, was admitted to the bar in 1885. He practiced law for five years, then relinquished practice to accept the Principalship of Keystone Academy. After 3 yrs he became partner in a law firm in Scranton where he had a large and remunerative practice. He married MARY L.
