The Lackawanna genweb site has obituaries and the rootsweb/ancestry.com Lackawanna board has about 3500 of them ( http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=admin.board&r=rw&p=localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.lackawanna ), some of which are from 1918. The last two months of 1918 Scranton Times has been indexed so far for the Obituary Times on rootsweb. ( http://obits.rootsweb.com/ ) There is also a NEPA board on rootsweb/ancestry which has obits from Scranton as well as surrounding counties, but I'm not certain of the time frame.
