Hi: Would a record be available that would show when Samuel Webb purchased this Lot? He had a Son named Samuel that married about this time and the Lot could have been purchased by him and not my GGrandfather Samuel Webb. I think the Microfilm records you mentioned were burial permits, Lyell> From: oneinfo@ptd.net> To: palackaw@rootsweb.com> Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2007 21:04:24 -0400> Subject: Re: [PALACKAW] Death date for a Samuel Webb> > > A couple of years ago, I started to look at the microfilmed records of> Marcy cemetery in the collection of the NEPA Genealogical Society at> Shavertown. If I recall correctly, I didn't have a lot of time left in the day when I started on the films for Marcy. The other problem was that there were just too many names that I was familiar with! Anyhow the films are arranged by two separate methods. "Burial Permit Records, numerical" NEPAGS, Roll 16-1, [starting 1899] Permit No. - Entry Plot - Name -Relationship - Occupation - Birth / Birthplace Place of Death - Death Date - Age - Burial Notes - Lot owner "Lot Records, alphabetical" NEPAGS, Roll 16-2 Lot owner Name Lot Number - Plot - Purchased Contact Information Name - Address - Relationship Burial Information Permit No. - Name - Relationship - Birth Date - Death Date - Burial Date - Age ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lyell Webb" <lyellwebb@hotmail.com> To: <palackaw@rootsweb.com>; "Pal Luz" <pa-luzerne-nepa-l@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 8:37 PM Subject: Re: [PALACKAW] Death date for a Samuel Webb : : Hi: Would a record be available that would show when Samuel Webb purchased this Lot?
