Scranton Times 5 July 2007 07/05/2007 Kenneth C. Winters Jr. July 4, 2007 Kenneth C. Winters Jr., 52, of Tunkhannock, died Wednesday at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. Born in Scranton, son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Ida Mae Decker Winters, he lived most of his life in Brinktown before moving to Tunkhannock in 1996. He was employed as a machine operator for Perkins Cascade Paper Co. in Pittston for 34 years. He was a man of the Methodist faith. Surviving are seven sons, Kenneth C. Winters III, Reading; Michael R. Winters and wife, Tracy, Falls; William Boyce Jr. and wife, Nichole, Hawaii; Todd A. Boyce, Sean P. Winters, Zachary S. Winters and Mitchell L. Winters, all of Tunkhannock; two sisters, Dora Smith and husband, Craig, Northumberland; and Irene Feringa and her husband, Ron, Hallstead; four grandchildren, Nikki, Austin, Annie and Noah Winters; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. John F. Shaffer, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Lemon. Interment, Shady Lane Cemetery, South Abington Township. Friends may call today, 5 to 8 p.m.
