Hello, Could someone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for an obituary for Lenore (Burke) Pidgeon DOD April,14 1958. My G-Grandmother Lenore died in C'Dale. Thank You Paul Harmon
I have a picture taken Dec. 11, 1932, it is of hunters and their deer. I know the first name of every one listed but not the last name except for a few. The people listed are: Chet W. Dick D. Horley D. "Champ" (Emerson C. Champiom) Floyd S. We think the last name was Speding or something like that, My Dad says the picture was taken in front of his store. Pete T Jack R (Rees) Melverne S. Pete and Melverne are brothers Floyd B. I think this might be Floyd Battenburg. There is also a second picture taken the same day, This one is actually better but it isn't labeled as to who the people are, I do know that one of them is Jack Rees, This one has a couple kids in it. From Compairing the pictures I think, they are: unknown Horley D. and a Child Floyd S. Pete T. and child. Jack Rees and maybe Melverne. I also have a picture of the "Lucas Home" Taken Aug 1942, Throop. But I do not know the address, In 1921 they lived at #1 Short St. And Last but not least is a Band picture Post Card, The post Date is. June 1921. I kow that the Drummer is My Grandfather Emerson Champion, My Dad thinks the banjo Player might be Walter Hogarth, This post Card was taken at the Churleigh Inn, Stroudsburg, Pa So They might not all be local to Lackawanna Co. but in some of Grandpa's letters he wrote home at that time he mentions riding from Stroudsburg to Jermyn with the "Fellows". Unfortinatly he doesn't mention any names. Any one interested in a copy of these pictures I will be happy to e-mail them to you Patty

Looking for information/descendants or hopefully a death date (probably 1892-1900) and obit for Julia Ann (Hudson) McGOWTY/McGOUTY. Julia was born Aug 8, 1812 in Goshen, Orange Co. NY. Married Elisha McGowty by 1840. Lived in Wayne Co. PA through 1870. In 1880, a widow, Julia was in Fell Township, Lackawanna Co. PA, living with her son Elisha. 1892 Carbondale Directory lists Julia, a widow, boarding at 9 Dickson Hill, main resident Fanny Doolittle. Guessing this could be her daughter Fanny, born abt 1849. Children of Elisha & Julia (Hudson) McGowty: Jerusha A., Margaret C., John H., Amanda L., Mary A., Fanny H., Elisha. Thanks for any clues or information, Jean (Hudson) McNamara
