A few years ago I was researching the DELEVAN surname when someone from the Lackawanna list contacted me with information about the family. Most of the information came from a Rev. William Lewis--who was a Delevan descendent. My best guess is he was a genealogist himself. I have no idea when he was born or died, but Marge Gray may be able to help you with that question.
