Hi Ruth. The following info has a more than good chance that this Gwen is yours. From the 1891 census there is only one Gwen born in 1883 that I could find. Gwen Richards 8y old living at a village called Llangynider in the County of Breconshire, with her mother Ellen J. Richards a widow and Mary age 11, Ellen A. age 9, Gwen age 8 and John age 6. From the 1881 census father is given as Rees Richards born 1857.
