Hi Tom, It's been awhile since I have been with PA LACK but I hope you remember me. I have been researching Saunders and did in fact come up with the connection between my g gf Harry Saunders (1620 Price St) and your George Saunders who married Ann Williams. Harry and George were brothers. Father was John Saunders, a miner, b abt 1843 Barnstaple Devon Eng Mother was Emily Ann (known by Annie) b abt 1843 Yeovil Somerset Eng sister Emily also b Eng with George by at least 1866 Henry John (Harry) b Cardiff Wales two more boys: Albert J and David b Wales Family immigrated to Scranton from Liverpool via NYC arrived 5/21/1882 Ship = Arizona Two more Children Ray(mond) and Hattie b Scranton Harry & Albert stayed in Scranton as did Emily (who AKA Annie) married Christopher Stevens. Their son George Stevens was the Press Room Super for the TIMES. David and family moved to Phoenixville, PA ( somewhat near to me) and Hattie (Mrs. John Diggs) to Norfolk VA Ray is a mystery, I found him in Hungtington W VA.
