Hi List, I am usually just a watcher on this list trying to pick up something on my Thomas Connolley and Margaret Joyce both b. Ireland who were married at St. Rose of Lima, Carbondale in 1845. Their son James is my great grandfather who was married here in Dutchess County, New York in 1874. Associated with my Connolley reasarch I always pick up all the Connolley/Connolly/Conley tid bits I can here in New York - that being said I came across this Dutchess County probate file from which I have abstracted the following. In searching for Margaret Walsh, born in Canada, I came across a Michael Walsh who seems to be born in the same year, namely l852, in Canada...if you can trust any of these dates. He lived in Scranton and then Dunmore in l870 & l880. Would he be any relation? I lived in Toronto for 4 years so understand about the "eh" business.
