Can anyone help with this mystery in Scranton, PA ???? My Great Grandfather in 1900 census was named William Pedrowskervick, age 32, Scranton, Lackawanna born Nov. 1868 married to Annie born Feb. 1877. (Street - lived on Clearview) Coal miner, speaks Lithuanian from Poland/Russia Then in the 1910 census his name is William Patricavigch ,age 42, Scranton, Lackawanna still married to Annie. (Street- moved to Lloyd St.) Coal miner, Speaks Lithuanian from Russia Then in 1920 his name is William Burns, age 52, Scranton, Pennsylvania, no longer shows a wife, however the children are the same, still working as a coal miner, speaks Lithuanian from Russia This has been a real BRICK WALL! Can't find anything before 1900 or after 1920 on Annie and William (Pedrowskervick, Patricavigch, Burns) or their kids. Susie
Bill, I lived on Ashmore Avenue and went to Clarks Summit High. I left that area in 1952 and go back for reunions and also to visit cemeteries. Debbie, thanks for this info. I did have some of the census you had sent but not the info. on Austin. thanks so much. I am trying to find more info. on Alice I can't find her after 1910 I assume she got married when she gave my Dad up for adoption. I have gone to the foundling home and they refuse to help me out. I finally got my Dads adoption record after talking with my Dads step sisters daughter and she told me she had it.....so I was very excited.....thanks again for giving me this info.....Sandy from New York t / ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debra Malecki" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 5:57 PM Subject: [PA-LAC] Barrett, Cometa & Maloney > Sandy, > > You did'nt say what you had or did'nt have, so here are the censuses and a > few other things I found, hope it helps. > > -------------------------------------------- > Scranton, Pennsylvannia Directories > > Name: Bryan Barrett > Location 2: Thompson n N Main avenue > Occupation: laborer > Year: 1890 > City: Scranton > State: PA > > > Name: Bryan Barrett > Location 2: 1245 Thompson > Occupation: laborer > Year: 1891 > City: Scranton > State: PA > > ---------------------------------------------------- > 06-01-1900, Scranton Ward 18, Lackawanna, Pa > > Bruce Barrett Head May 1845 Ire Ire Ire > Mary Wife Feb 1860 Ire Ire Ire > Alice Daug Sept 1893 Pa Ire Ire > Austin Maloney Son Mar 1884 Ire Ire Ire > > They had been married 8 years, Mary had had 6 children with 4 living.
