    3. I'm looking for information on Kennedys who came to Juniata County possibly as early as the late 1700's (the county may have been formed out of another county +=after= that time). My great-grandfather was Dennis Kennedy, c. 1850-1925. He had a brother Joe who had a daughter, Annie, who married a Glock (we always pronounced "Gluck"); and she was a lifelong resident of Juniata County, possibly living into the 1970's. Both Dennis Kennedy's and Annie Kennedy Glock's graves are in a Presbyterian cemetery in rural Juniata County. My grandfather, John Moody Kennedy, "migrated" about 100 miles west to Cambria County c. 1880-85, and his children were born there, around Blandburg in the NE corner (my father, Harry, born in 1900). Another of Dennis' sons, Jim Kennedy, reportedly emigrated to Wyoming, to become a rancher. Any additional information, especially about Dennis's forebears, would be greatly appreciated. Also, any facts or theories on how these poor Irish (possibly Scottish?) immigrants could make it to Pennsylvania at that time? Thanks, Jon Kennedy Los Angeles
