Perhaps you are not aware that there is a Juniata Co. ListServ where you can also post your notice. You can subscribe by clicking on the highlighted line mailto:PAJUNIAT-L-request@rootsweb.com and entering the word "subscribe" in the blank E-mail message form that comes up. Secondly, if you should get replies to your question that are not posted on both the Juniata and the Mifflin Co. ListServs, would you be so kind as to forward them to these ListServs. There are many of us researching this area of your interest who would like to find the resources you are seeking. Thirdly, you should be aware that after 1800 Presbyterians at times shared use of the Lutheran log church and cemetery at Old Church Hill (Rice's) Lutheran in Spruce Hill Township outside of Port Royal, now in Juniata Co. I have an indexed catalog of the gravestone inscriptions still legible at Old Church Hill Cemetery, so I am willing to look up that cemetery's gravestone inscriptions for you. Later the Presbyterians erected their own church building and moved to what I believe was known as Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, or a title similar to that. It was located at Academia, Beale Township, Juniata Co. I regret I have no information on this Presbyterian church's membership or its cemetery to share with you. The large Westminster Cemetery in Mifflintown is also known as "Presbyterian Cemetery," but I regret I do not have a catalog of its gravestone inscriptions to share with you. Fourthly, if you go to the Juniata Co. cemeteries Website at <http://www.rootsweb.com/~pajuniat/jucem.htm> you will find listings for Westminster Cemetery graves in three separate lists. You may also find other helpful cemetery listings at this Juniata Co. Website. Unfortunately Lower Tuscarora at Academia is not yet filled in. Fortunately for you, Lost Creek Presbyterian Churchyard, Fayette Township, is filled in. You might also find some help on the listing for the McWilliams Presbyterian Cemetery in Lack Township, though this township was somewhat separated from the areas of your interest. All but the first three surnames shown in my sig line below are from the places you mention in your message, and other ancestral names from this area will be found in the "ftp" Website I show below. I have been researching surnames in the Juniata Valley and Tuscarora Creek areas for decades and might be able to help you if you send me a list of the surnames you are working on in this area. Please return this message, or portion(s) of it, as reference in any response you send to me. Nelson R.
