Did your really mean to write that Valentine Wisehaupt died and was buried in the Port Royal area about 1701, or did you intend to type 1801? 1801 is a plausible date, but I believe 1701 is not. I appears you are "barking up the wrong tree" looking for any Wisehaupt burials in the Old Church Hill Cemetery outside of Port Royal before 1803. It was on 1 January 1803 that the German Lutheran Congregation bought 1-1/2 acres of land surrounding the old log church, which had been erected about 6-8 years earlier on the highest land of the Zachariah Rice farm. There are no burials in that graveyard before 1803. The first grave was dug in the Old Church Hill graveyard for a six-month-old child, Johann Daniel Kebner, who had been born on 29 August 1802. I regret I am unable to tell you where German Lutherans were buried in the Port Royal area before 1803. Perhaps another subscriber on this ListServ would be able to enlighten us on that question. The index published in 1982 for the Old Church Hill Cemetery shows a total of 34 Wisehaupts buried in the three sections of that cemetery, but none of these Wisehaupts was named Valentine. Also, you should note that neither the spelling "Weishaupt" nor "Weisshaupt" appears even once in the index for the three sections of this cemetery. If you want to check for yourself the names in that cemetery, go to the following URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~pajuniat/jucem.htm and click on the highlighted Old Church Hill Cemetery, which will take you to: http://www.rootsweb.com/~pajuniat/oldhilju.htm Good luck in your searching, Nelson R.
