here used to be a library on the road from mifflintown to Sunbury run by a Noah Zimmerman. He is a Mennonite but was very knowledgeable about Juniata families. At the time I was there a David? Shellenberger? had the historical society information in his house just outside Mifflintown. But that was all of ten years ago. I've not been there, but as I understand it, the Historical Society is in Richfield. And up to a year ago, Noah Zimmerman was still there. A very nice gentleman. Noah Zimmerman of Richfield was a big help to me in researching my family, but there is also the Juniata County Historical Society in Mifflintown - housed in the lower level of the Public Library there. The folks there were also very helpful. Darlene > I've not been there, but as I understand it, the Historical Society is in > Richfield. And up to a year ago, Noah Zimmerman was still there.
