Hello all. I'm searching for information regarding the CORNELIUS family. My GGG Grandfather, Abraham Cornelius was born in Mifflin County 12/28/1839. It is said that his parents were from the Juniata River Valley. When he was 3, his parents as well as some of his brothers and sisters sucumbed to the Black Plague. He and his surviving siblings, were raised by whomever would take them in. My Abraham was raised by the Jacob HOLLEN family of Cambria County. What can you tell me about the Black Plague? Were there obituaries written during that time? Any suggestions as to how I can find more information? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Beth Johnson Spanaway, Washington
