I am looking for the ancestors of Joseph Ray RAUGHT. b. 3 March 1875 in Corcica, Jefferson, PA d. 14 Jan 1961 in Bradford, McKean, PA buried in McKean Memorial Park Cemetery, Lafayette, McKean, PA m. 28 Jun 1899 in Brookville, Jefferson, PA Victoria Tabitha VAN TASSEL b. 28 Oct 1881 Gypsy, Jefferson, PA d. 12 Jan 1956 Smethport, McKean, PA buried with her husband She is the daughter of James Russell VAN TASSEL and Emma DYE He is the son of Joseph M. RAUGHT and Lydia LONG Joseph M. RAUGHT may be the son of a Henry RAUGHT, but that is just a guess from the 1850 Heath Twp, Jefferson Co., PA Census. Calculating the approximate date of birth from the census puts Joseph M. born in 1841 which means this Joseph in this census could be the father of Joseph Ray Raught. I know the information about Joseph Ray Raught and Victoria Tabitha Van Tassel is correct because I have copies of their death certificates and of the marriage license Any help would be appreciated.
