I recently obtained a copy of the official records of the Mc Clure Cemetery in Big Run. I also have a copy of a very large map of the plots in this cemetery. I want to scan this in and reduce it to a useable size so it can be more practical. The cemetery records show, Section, Lot Number, Holder of the plots, Number of plots, Interred#1, Interred#2, etc. through Interred #8. It gives names only, no dates and shows a "(V)" for Vets. I would love to transcribe this info and post it to somewhere on the web. Where? What format should I use? Is this of interest or use to anyone? I will do lookups for anyone. I can only give the location of the grave, no dates, as I live in Utah now. No pun intended, but, what should I do with this information? Bruce Gray Proud descendant of Pennsylvania blood.....and dirt!
I would be interested in any Winslow or Dickinson names in that cemetery. I would also send it to the Jefferson Co, PA web site to be included in their cemetery page. Hi Bruce We are doing a cemetery at present and found if you scan it in sections and index them separately it will work nicely.
