Hello ED, From some info I have recieved so far from some other members of the PAJEFFER-list it looks like your correct. Jacob & Barbara Smith had a daughter Margaretha Maria SMITH, born on 7 Dec 1808, & who had married a John D. PHILLIPI. Also on that same page (p426) of the 1860 census for Winslow Twp. Sarah Hess, age 49 is residing with her daughter Barbara A (Anne Hess) age 28 the wife of Joseph Rutter. Appreciate any other info you might have. I am still in search of what became of John Hess.
