Hello, Does anyone know the death date of William REED? As far as I know, he was born 11 May 1827 in Northumberland Co., PA. He lived in Ringgold Twp., Jefferson Co., PA, through at least 1880. He married Harriet Rebecca REITZ. Children: Samuel Thomas; William Henry; Sarah Elizabeth; Hugh McKee; George McClain; Emanuel H.; Letitia Susan; Daniel Jesse; Jacob C.; Mary C. Hi Bev, I don't have Reeds in my Family,but I do have Pat Steel's Tomstone Hoppin and her Who,Where,andf When.William H. Reed born in March 11,1827,died on Jan15,1929. Also in case you don't have all the particulars; In License Book # 4, entry #83, on 11/3/1888 at Worth-ville,George B. Shannon, J. P. married Reed,William H.,age 28yrs, of Ringgold Twp.,a Carpenter,Born in Ringgold Twp.: son of Reed,Willam H. and Hariett,and Kiehl, Sarah C.,25 yrs, from Oliver Twp.,born in Oliver Twp. daughter of Kiehl, Peter and...... Bev, the part about Sarah C. KIEHL might be wrong. This is how the book "Who,When and Where Vol III"reads.In looking up Sarah C.'s mothers name on the 1880 Census,I find a the only Sarah C.,b.1863 in Oliver Twp.,parents names are Andrew and Jane Huffman.Have you run into this situation before?
