Assuming we are talking about the same Michael, here is a brief rundown what I have on his ancestors: George Washington SWARTZ 1837 - 1923 f/o Michael John/Johannes SWARTZ 1808 - 1881 f/o George Isaac SWARTZ 1779 - 1865 f/o John Adam SCHWARTZ 1749 - 1810 (possible f/o Isaac) Adam probably died in (Lower) Mahantango Twp, Berks Co. I have family information for each of these men which I am happy to share. I would be interested in information on Edith SCHUCKER's parents, siblings and children. I am also interested in the SCHUCKER's migration from Berks Co. to Jefferson Co. I am trying to establish the relationship between Adam SCHWARTZ who I can place in Berks Co. in the late 1700s and early 1800s, and the Isaac SWARTZ of Clarion Co. I notice a John SHUCKER listed in the first, 1802, assessment of taxes in Mahantango Twp, Berks Co.. Is he yours? John/Johannes SWARTZ was my gr-gr-grandfather.
