Billie McNamara, Coordinator of the Clarion County USGenWeb Project, has just added the Journal of James Campbell to the Clarion County site at: http://www.pa-roots.com/~clarion/books/campbell/ In her announcement Billie said "..James Campbell (1813-1892), who was raised in Mifflin County but moved to Clarion just after the county formed. He discusses his schooling, friends, business, and personal/legal (he was a lawyer and judge) acquaintances from across the state. "He doesn't identify most places with their counties, so it's not always easy to do a locality search. But, it's a very interesting 60+-year snapshot of life in 19th Century rural Pennsylvania. "Please visit when you have time to browse and read (it's 334-pages of text broken into 58 sections for the Web site)." Enjoy! -- Alice J.
