Thank you for your response. I did know that Agnes and John Thompson had a family but mixed up my generations the other evening. It was actually Edith Thompson who married George Trimble Rogers who died without issue, just a few months after her marriage. I believe she is the one listed in the history as Laura Edith Thompson. I am still searching for the name of the 2d son of William and Mary McClure Kennedy. Was he John Kennedy who had son William A. and son Robert W. in the 1880 census? Whose son was McClure Kennedy?
