    3. Linda, A few comments... Norristown would be the city or town; Montgomery is the county. I would suggest you join the Montgomery County list. Perhaps someone that lives in the area would know something or do a look-up for an obituary. You may be able to find a library in Norristown that would have it. I would try and get an obit before I obtained a death certificate. Use <vitalrec.com> for getting fees and forms. In PA the cost is $9.00. If the informant was well "informed", it should give his parent's names. I used the site http://resources.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/townco.cgi/ and typed in White Springs Park and nothing came up. Also tried White Spring Park and nothing. You might want to use <Google.com>. This is a handy site though, so keep it book marked. I'm going to leave on a trip next week and if all goes well, I'll be gone for several weeks. Otherwise, I'd offer to look in the census records. You could also check 'Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness'. I just type that in my URL box and the site comes up. Maybe you can find a volunteer from Montgomery County that would help you. Keep asking questions and good luck! On his entry registration under the "going to friends, relatives" etc. section, it looks like White Springs Park? 3. Bev: Thanks for your help and suggestions - I have been lucky enough for another kind lister to find what certainly looks like him and his wife and three boys in the 1920 census living in Northampton county, allen township. So I will persue the obit train of thought and see what shows up. Have a good trip.
