Found a Peter B Ostrander listed on 1820 cesus in Pine Creek Name: Peter B Ostrander Township: Pine Creek County: Jefferson State: PA Year: 1820 Roll: M33_105 Page: 38 Image Number: 46 2 free white males between 26 - 45 2 free white females under 10 1 free white female between 26 - 45 2 Manufacturing 1830 Census for Pa., Jefferson Co. (using Ancestry.com) and found a Peter Ostrander with one male of five and under 10; one male of forty and under 50; one female of 5 and under 10; and one female of 40 and under 50. The female of 5 under 10 could be Lydia depending on birthday and date census taker visited. Laurie, Check with the courthouse, which may require hiring someone to do the research, for estate papers for Peter Ostrander. Even if there is no will, the final disbursement of his estate would name his heirs, and hopefully that would include at least all of his living children. Sometimes though, the daughters' shares were left to their husbands. Pat
