    3. .jpg files are already highly compressed. Zipping them will not compress them much more. Changing the resolution of the jpg files would make them smaller but one would have to be careful to make certain they are still readable. THe pages should be transcribed to a text file. They would be tiny. I suggest 5 or 6 each take a page or 2 to transcribe. And 1 or 2 people to proof read. I think the draft list came from a Jefferson County history book and many of us that subscribe to an online pay data service have access to the Jefferson County history books.
