    3. The microfilm is available through the Latter Day Saints Family History Library. There are a total of 6 films in this series, numbered 1016403-1016408. Butler County is on Film 1016404. They are on the films alphabetically. I know that Lawrence County was on film 1016406 and I think that Mercer County may have been on that same film. If I remember that correctly, Lehigh would be on the film with Lawrence and Mercer. These records are NOT in the county courthouses. When you look at the LDS films, it clearly states they filmed them in Harrisburg.

    3. Jefferson Counties early marriage records can still be found in the courthouse-- I've seen them myself. Pat Steele transcribed them years ago and included them in her Jefferson County book on marriage licenses. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Collins" <sweeze@zoominternet.net> To: <PAJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2004 6:32 PM Subject: Birth, Marriage, Death 1852-1854 > > The microfilm is available through the Latter Day Saints Family History > Library.
