    3. John, Thank you so much for sending me this info. I received it last night, and was very excited to find not only my gggrandfather listed(who I had long suspected of serving), but I also found listed his older brother and one of his brother's in law. Very exciting for me is an understatement! Now I just have to see about finding the documentation! You made no mention of reimbursement for your time, materials and trouble. Is there anything I can do to repay you for the wonderful knowledge you sent me? Thank you again and again, Carrie Marsh -- Genealogy - Looking for a single blade in a sea of grass. 3. .jpg files are already highly compressed. Zipping them will not compress them much more. Changing the resolution of the jpg files would make them smaller but one would have to be careful to make certain they are still readable. THe pages should be transcribed to a text file. They would be tiny. I suggest 5 or 6 each take a page or 2 to transcribe. And 1 or 2 people to proof read. I think the draft list came from a Jefferson County history book and many of us that subscribe to an online pay data service have access to the Jefferson County history books.
