    3. Hi Bev No sign of these folks in the Hetrick book, but that don't mean any thing as all most all the Hetricks in central Pa. came from the same stock, Adam b. 1751, Peter b.1752, Michael b. 1753 killed at Brandywine., Francis lost in the revolutionary war fought on the American side., George b. 1755 was a colonel in the British Army, went back to Germany after the war Massed a wealth of about $ 70,000,000.00., Thomas b. 1756 killed at the battle of Cowpens., Nicholas b. 1758, William b. 1759 no family records., Jacob b. 1761, Lucy b. ????, and an other daughter one was killed in the war also, one was on the British side the other on the American side.. If it is any thing the name Phillip shows up in the Nicholas line but not yours as I see it (yet) Jerry Hetrick ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bev Morris" <bmom@rickadee.net> To: <PAJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 04, 2004 11:01 PM Subject: HETRICK > Hello, > > Looking for information regarding the following family: > > Perry Franklin HETRICK (aka Frank P. 3. Hi Pat, I am actually trying to help a friend of mine whose grandather's name was Cosimo Jose. I found him in the 1930 census, but in 1930 it did not show immigration dates. He came from Italy around 1892 or so, but his birth surname was not Jose, but something like "Ioio", and they changed it, possibly at the time of immigration. I was hoping to find the immigration date to see if he still used his birthname at that time, and when he came, and possibly what the actual name was, Thanks! 1. James Brigance born: September 1765 in Pennsylvania; County & Township unknown
    2. Could someone help me with a church, birth or other lookup for the above person or surname. My dilemma is that supposedly he was born in PA but I have no idea where. Other Brigance members were supposedly born around 1740 in PA as well. At that time, there were only 4 counties: Lancaster, Chester, Philadelphia and Bucks. I have searched in Philadelphia and Lancaster but I wonder when the counties split if the information went with another county outside of the Philadelphia area. Thanks!!!!!
