    3. Thank You, That's what I wanted to hear. I suspected that the older version of PSP was better. Way do you like 7 better than XI. More input is welcome. 2. I've liked all the versions I've used...To me, either 7 or 8 was the best. 9 and 10, you can see the changes that were made by Adobe when they bought it, and I really felt it was more user-friendly the way JASC had it set up. -David > Thank You, > That's what I wanted to hear. 1. Re: [PAINT-SHOP-PRO] New XI PSP
    2. I've used PSP since v. 5 and now have XI. The latest version has a lot of help for beginners and a few bells & whistles X doesn't have, but I like X a lot. I have been teaching a beginners class with v. 9, but we're going to upgrade to XI, since most of the people who take the class are getting the latest version. I think the Smart Photo Fix has improved in each version. Sometimes that's all I need to do to a photo. I'm not sure why there's also the One Step Photo Fix because it either does the same job or doesn't do it as well, depending on what the photo needs. The biggest advantage to using an older version of PSP is that the online tutorials are for the older versions. It takes a while before people have developed tuts for the newer PSP. I'd say it depends on just what you want to do with the program whether you get the newer version. If an older version fills all your needs, stick with it. Casey

    3. Mainly the ease of use and layout are what keepings me going back to version 7. I find it simple to use, even on complicated graphics or pictures.
