    1. Re: [PAINT-SHOP-PRO] Question: saving Print Layout with Images as a JPEG to Document File
    2. Hi Donna, That's the frustrating part of setting up a layout of pictures just right, and then being able to print that layout of pics, but not being able to save that layout of pics as a single pic in JPG. All that work is lost except for the hard copy picture printed from the layout. All of that work done once has to be done yet again if one wants to redo the same pics later in the same or similar manner. I've "lost" some hard work that way myself. BUT ... there are ways to save all that work to put your "laid out" pics into a single pic, and it involve "printing" the layout to an XPS file, or to a PDF file. On your Print Shop Pro X or X+, you can set your printer for your PSP layout to go to an XPS file. When you save the image, it looks like xxxxx.xps. Then you can go to the Zamzar site I provided earlier and convert the XPS image to a JPG image. Then you're set. But you may have other software you own that provides a PDF file printer. With that, you select your "printer" to be the PDF printer, and the layout is saved to a PDF file, such as xxxxx.pdf. Then you can use your Paint Shop Pro X or X+ to convert the PDF file to a JPG file. 1. Re: [PAINT-SHOP-PRO] PSP XI email Print Layout Template
    2. OK, if you can't print your layout to a PDF file, then change your printer destination to an XPS file and print your layout to an XPS file. Then upload your XPS file to http://www.zamzar.com and convert it to PDF. Follow the instructions and wait for an e-mail. DO NOT HIT THE GREEN DOWNLOAD BUTTON, as that downloads junk software onto your computer. It takes a while for the e-mail to arrive. I tried this system for you and have confirmed it works. Once you have saved your XPS file to a PDF, you can e-mail your PDF to anyone and they can both view and print the pics easilty. 2. Sounds like you want to send the pictures as they're shown in the layout, with that layout as a combined single picture. Best way to do that is to print the layout with pics to a PDF file. Then email each PDF file. For the above, you have to have to have software that you can "print" to a PDF file. Some programs have that feature. You can also change your printer settings to print to an XPS file. That's sort of like a PDF file. I'm looking for an online program that will convert an XPS file to a PDF file. 3. Donna, Yes, you can Email  photos directly from PSPP X1. I have provided a link for you to use to get a PDF manual for PSPP X1 http://verkkopedagogi.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/corelpaintshopprophoto.pdf#page=1&zoom=auto,0,522 After the manual opens in your computer browser you can use the down load link (3rd symbol in the right hand corner) to get a copy in Adobe reader. Then just save a copy on your computer for future refference. It's all free. Oh, the manual list Email functions on pg. 107 but in a PDF version manual it is on pg 113. 1. Re: [PAINT-SHOP-PRO] highlighting on an image
    2. Marvin `Woody` Woodworth
    3. No, that's what normal highlighting would do. We're cloning a small portion of a yellowed picture onto the same exact area of unyellowed picture. For example, a cousin had a family group picture, but one person's head was very dark for some reason. So I created a copied picture, lightened the whole copied picture, and then cloned the lighter head over the dark head in the original picture. All looked completely normal then. 3. After thinking about it, and knowing nothing about layers, here's a way I would do it: 1. Copy the pic. Turn the copy yellow(er) or whatever shade you want, using whatever works. 2. Make a clone brush about the right size to be a highlighter. 3. Have the original and yellowed copy next to one anotther on the screen. 4. Clone the yellowed area onto the original in the width and height desired. (Getting them aligned just right can be tricky. Just enlarge both so one can clone from an exact spot to an exact spot.
