I have the same situation. My people were buried "on the McLaughlin family farm" between 1832 and the 1860's. It was at the junction of Centre Twp and Brush Valley Twp. We know that there has been strip-mining there, but are hopeful that we may yet find some sign of the cemetery when we go there next week on our genealogy vacation. We know that another family cemetery nearby has survived, the Peddicord family cemetery. Looking forward to hearing an answer to Gary's query. Thanks, and thanks for the question, Gary. Was wondering about your McLaughlins. I have an Arthur McLaughlin in my line but only know that his mother's 1st name was Nancy. I am trying to find his parents, his name was Arthur McLaughlin. He only shows up on tax records in 1860 or 61 in Armstrong township and I have no idea where he might have come from. Randy in So.
