She had six other siblings - one of which is Serenia Shivlar - born on March 21, 1850. She married Newton Jenkins on August 23, 1867. Serenia is mentioned in Hester's obituary, as "Serenia Jenkins of Bellflower" attended the funeral. I am willing to share any additional information that I have - including the parents and siblings of Serenia and Hester Shivlar.
