Indiana County Gazette Weds March 21, 1906 Mrs Elizabeth Fisher died on Sunday morning, March 11, at her home in Johnstown, after a lingering illness from paralysis complicated with othe diseases. The deceased was in her seventy-ninth year, having been born on June 15, 1827, near Broad Top, Huntingdon county. Shortly after her marriage to Thomas Anderson they came westward and settled on a farm not far from Cherrytree, this county. There Mr Anderson died forty one years ago. Some time later his widow married John Fisher, who has been dead for eighteen years. About nine years ago the deceased went to Johnstown to live. Mrs Fisher is survived by the following children: E.T. Anderson, of Indiana; Catherine, wife of Augustus McAnulty, of near Spruce, this county; Lucy wife of R.E. Boring, of DuBois; Rebecca, wife of Amos Miller, of Johnstown; Martha, wife of John Davis, of Heilwood; Hester, wife of A.J. Boring of Johnstown, and Nelson Anderson of Indiana. Three children are dead- two who passed away when small, a! nd Elizabeth wife of Noah Buterbaugh. Brief funeral services were held at the Miller home Sunday afternoon. Monday morning the remains, accompanied by Rev Boyer and relatives, were brought to the McAnulty home, near Spruce, where the funeral was held Tuesday, interment being made in the McDowell graveyard.
