I think he arrived in the Pt. of Phila. about 1845 with his wife, Mary. Their first child was born in 1852. US Census of 1870 shows them living in Buckingham Twp., Bucks Co., PA I think he had a brother, James, living in Falls Twp., Bucks Co., PA. I don't find Alexander after this date and assume that he died. Mary had an additional child with Michael Carnahan from Scotland. He is shown in the Bensalem, PA census in 1860 along with brother John and sister Mary.
