George W. Henry was married to Elizabeth Dick, 1872-1910 and Ella Fry, 1867-1942. Elizabeth Dick was the daughter of Jacob B. Dick, 1824-1900 and Elizabeth Mock, 1836-1933. OBIT - Johnstown Tribune - 17 January 1942, p. 14, col. George W. Henry - INDIANA--George W. Henry, 74, Cherryhill Township farmer, dropped dead of a heart attack last evening in the haymow of the barn on his farm. Coroner E.L. Fleming conducted an investigation. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ella (Fry) Henry, and two children: Mrs. Goldie Maurer, Ebensburg, and Frank Henry, Niagara Falls, N.Y. He was a brother of Frank Henry, Johnstown; Charles Henry, Marion Center; Mrs. Ida Phillips, Du Bois; Mrs. Gertrude Laney, Commodore, and Mrs. Jennie Wentzel, Clymer. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Streams Funeral Home of Indiana. Indiana, PA "The Indiana Progress" issue of Wednesday, 14 November 1900, p. 1, col. 2 JACOB P. DICK. Mr. Jacob P. Dick, of Cherryhill township, died, on Wednesday, aged 77 years, 3 months and 13 days. The deceased had been in ill health for over a year. Two weeks previous to his death he suffered from heart trouble. The deceased was twice married. His second wife and the following children survive him: Mrs. Elmer Hadden, David, George, Martin, Jacob, Mrs. Charles McKendricks and Frank, of Cherryhill township; John, of Green township, James and William, of Indiana; Nancy, of Blair county, and Mrs. George Henry, of Windber. The deceased was a member of the Dunkard church. The funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, by Rev. Stahl, and interment followed in the Manor cemetery, in Cherryhill township. Indiana, PA "Indiana Evening Gazette" issue of Saturday, 27 May 1933, p. 2, col. 7 Mrs. Elizabeth M. Dick Mrs. Elizabeth (Mock) Dick, widow of Jacob P. Dick, was born near Martinsburg October 1, 1836, and died May 27, 1933, aged 96 years, seven months and 27 days. She had been a resident of Cherryhill township for more than 80 years. She leaves four sons: William M. Dick of Woodbine, Ia.; James M. Dick of Allentown; Jacob M. Dick of Cherryhill township, at whose home she died, and Frank M. Dick, of Penn Run. Two daughters: Mrs. George Henry and Mrs. Joseph McKendrick, are deceased. She also leaves 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of Penn Run Church of the Brethren for many years and had always been active in community and church affairs and was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society. Private services will be conducted in the Jacob Dick home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, standard time. Friends will be received at the home until the morning of the funeral rites.
