    2. Here are somemore of my unknown Ragers. If anyone has a clue as to who they are, please contact me: SIPES-RAGER James N. Sipes and Miss Martha A. Rager, both of Blairsville, were married at the Baptist church at Blairsville on Wednesday by the pastor, Rev. J. Thomas Davis. (Indiana Progress, 1904 May 4.) ----------------------------------------------- Mrs. John Rager Mrs. Margaret Rager, wife of John Rager, died at the home of her son-in-law, Theodore Snyder, in Blairsville, on June 16, aged 89 years. She was a lifelong resident of Indiana county. Mrs. Rager is survived by her husband and eight children. For 43 years the deceased was an active member of the Lutheran church. Funeral services were held on Thursday, interment following in Blairsville cemetery. (Indiana County Gazette, 1908 June 24.) -------------------------------------------------------- ABSOLEM RAGER Absolem Rager of West Indiana, who was taken to Dixmont about two weeks ago, died in that institution last Saturday and was brought home Monday. His remains were interred at Jacksonville Monday afternoon. He was about 73 years of age. (Indiana County Gazette, 1891 May 27. Martha Humenik -- RESEARCHING: Edwards; Fronk; Miller; Paul; Pfoutz; Rager; Campbell Life should Not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming... Damn, What A Ride!!
