    3. Hi, Grant Smith was a funny guy that had a farm, Coal Bank, Gravel Pit at the corner of the road that goes to Pioneer Lake. I think the last that I saw a map it was listed under the name of Frederick G. Smith and across the road was land listed to Robert J. Smith. This must be his son's because this was all Grant's Farm about 150 acres. At one time he ran for Tax Collector but I don't think that he won. Yes Grant did speak alittle funny ( Really funny if you were a kid).
