SAMUEL LEAR. Mrs. Phoebe Lear, wife of Samuel Lear, of Garfield, died at her home on Wednesday, aged 83 years. Her death was due to general debility. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Cyrus, of Garfield; David, Central City, Neb.; Benjamin, Bolivar; Henry, of Johnstown; A.J. and M.S., of New Florence; Mrs. Susan Fairman, of Nebraska; Mrs. Mary A. Forscythe and Mrs. Nancy J. Harkins, of Garfield. The funeral services were conducted on Thursday in the Germany Lutheran church, in West Wheatfield township, by Rev.
