Funeral services for Martin H. Dick were held at Penn Run Methodist Episcopal Church, Friday, November 26. Rev. Clarence Bennett and Rev. Kenneth Gray officiated. Martin H. Dick, son of Jacob P. Dick, was born in Cherryhill Township, and began farm work during his boyhood, helping at home. In 1887, buying a farm in Cherryhill Township where he lived until his retirement when he moved to Penn Run. In 1887 he was married to Amanda McKendrick, daughter of John McKendrick, of Cherryhill Township. Mrs. Dick, mother of three children, Thomas A., Windham, Ohio, Eula, aged 7 months, deceased, and Mary E. Bodenhorn, Detroit, Mich., died on January 22, 1904. On February 19, 1907 Mr. Dick was married to Jennie B. Miller who died, July 22, 1915. Mr. Dick was married to Lottie P. Edwards, who died May 24, 1934. Since then he had made his home in Ohio and Michigan with his two children, Mary Bodenhorn and Thomas A. Dick. ____________________________________________
