Amond Frank C. Amond, aged 57 years, a well-known and highly esteemed resident of Cherryhill township, died at his home in Penn Run Tuesday with rheumatism, from which he had been a sufferer for several years. He was a son of Levi J. and Barbara Dick Amond and was born in Cherryhill township on January 19, 1871. He was a successful farmer and was prominently identified with the educational interests of that section of the county, having served as member and secretary of the Cherryhill Township School Board for a number of years. He held various other township offices and was keenly interested in all movements for the industrial, intellectual and social development of his community. He was united in marriage at Belsano on June 15, 1893, to Minnie B. Edward[s], who survives him with these children: Vinton D., John L., Chester A., Wilbur Roy and Florence Elizabeth Amond. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon and burial will be made in Manor Cemetery. ____________________________________________________
