Deemer P.A. Deemer, aged nearly 77 years, a well known resident of Brushvalley township, died at his home on Friday, as the result of injuries sustained in a fall some time ago. He was born in East Mahoning township January 1, 1847, and when a young man entered the service of his country as a member of Co. B, 101st regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He had been a resident of Brushvalley township for the past 25 years and was a member of the Brushvalley M.E. church. His wife died about eight years ago. These children are living: Lorenzo Deemer, of South Bend; Alva Deemer, of Marion Center; Rhoda and Nora Deemer, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. E.T. Young, of Pittsburgh; Eunice and Collins Deemer, at home. One brother, Samuel Deemer, and three sisters, Mrs. Painter, Mrs. Howells and Mrs. Hazlett, all of Apollo, are living. Funeral services were held at his late home Monday afternoon by his pastor, Rev. Samuel Ford, and burial was made at Brushvalley. ____________________________________
