Dick Mrs. Elizabeth (Mock) Dick, widow of Jacob P. Dick, was born near Martinsburg October 1, 1836, and died May 27, 1933, aged 96 years, seven months and 27 days. She had been a resident of Cherryhill township for more than 80 years. She leaves four sons: William M. Dick of Woodbine, Ia.; James M. Dick of Allentown; Jacob M. Dick of Cherryhill township, at whose home she died, and Frank M. Dick, of Penn Run. Two daughters: Mrs. George Henry and Mrs. Joseph McKendrick, are deceased. She also leaves 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of Penn Run Church of the Brethren for many years and had always been active in community and church affairs and was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society. Private services will be conducted in the Jacob Dick home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, standard time. Friends will be received at the home until the morning of the funeral rites. The names of two daughters--Mrs. E.E. Hadden and Mrs. R.E. Simpson, both of Cherryhill township, and two step-children, Mrs. Nannie Bowers and Martin H. Dick of Penn Run--were omitted from Saturday’s obituary. _______________________________________________
